The Australasian Orchestra's second full orchestra concert of 2017 will feature a performance of Rimsky-Korsakov's incomparable symphonic suite 'Scheherazade', Op. 35 (complete). Joining it will be Rossini's brilliant 'The Thieving Magpie Overture' as well as a performance of the brilliant ('flamenco' influenced) 'Symphony No. 3' by Melbourne's Benjamin Bates, all conducted by Chief Conductor Robert Dora.
