University of Melbourne All Staff Orchestra Concert

Join us for the inaugural University of Melbourne Staff Orchestra concert! Under the baton of alumna Dr Ingrid Martin, this concert showcases instrumentalists from across a range of faculties of the university and partner organisations.

This project is a professional development initiative by IgniteLAB, Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and is wholly student managed. A team of exceptional music students have been selected to develop and refine their music management skills, whilst creating a valuable new inter-faculty community of staff members. CONDUCTOR

Ingrid Martin's work as a conductor, clinician and curator is united by her vision to move people and transform lives through the emotive power of music. She creates inspiring musical experiences for performers and audiences by empowering musicians to find their unique artistic voice. Ingrid is in demand internationally as a clinician, guest conductor and lecturer. She is renowned for her ability to lead ensembles to create deeper, more meaningful musical performances.
